The Jacksonville Jaguars are signing Jacob Bobenmoyer as their long snapper as Ross Matiscik recovers rom a shoulder injury during Week 6.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are signing long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer for Week 6 following an injury to starter Ross Matiscik. Matiscik suffered a shoulder injury during Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Ian Rapoport reports that he will not be placed on the Injured Reserve list.
Bobenmoyer, who previously played for the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders, is expected to join the practice squad. Because Matiscik is avoiding injured reserve, the article notes that his absence may be short-term with a potential return in November.
