The Story in 60 Seconds

The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly targeted Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Moro Ojomo ahead of the NFL trade deadline. Following a season-ending quadriceps injury to DaVon Hamilton, Jaguars general manager James Gladstone is aggressively searching for interior defensive line help. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Ojomo is officially considered a person of interest for Jacksonville after the team previously missed out on acquiring Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans.

However, acquiring Ojomo via trade may prove difficult for Jacksonville. According to reports from Albert Breer and Jeremy Fowler, the Eagles are inclined to keep Ojomo and have signaled intentions to pursue a contract extension with the defensive tackle next season. Philadelphia has reportedly told inquiring teams that Ojomo is not available, meaning Jacksonville would likely need to offer a significant trade package to convince Eagles general manager Howie Roseman to make a deal.
