The Jacksonville Jaguars placed Caleb Ransaw on the Injured Reserve. With injuries at safety, rookie Jalen Huskey will have an increased role.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed safety Caleb Ransaw on injured reserve following a knee injury suffered in their 22-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. With Ransaw sidelined, rookie safety Jalen Huskey is set for an expanded role alongside Rayuan Lane III as Jacksonville prepares to play the Philadelphia Eagles in London. Head coach Liam Coen declined to confirm if Ransaw will miss the rest of the season.
Huskey, a 2026 third-round pick from Maryland, has been inactive for the team's first four games but is expected to make his NFL debut. With starter Eric Murray placed in concussion protocol, Huskey could see significant defensive snaps as a primary backup or rotational safety.
