Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter has rejected claims that he deliberately faked a stumble to bait Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud into throwing an interception. Speaking to reporters, Hunter dismissed viral social media rumors suggesting he used the tactic, stating that people were simply making things up and clarifying his actual movement on the play.
The interception took place in the end zone during the fourth quarter of Jacksonville's 34-31 loss to Houston. Earlier in the quarter, Hunter caught a seven-yard touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence, finishing the game with four receptions for 59 yards alongside his defensive interception as offensive coordinator Grant Udinski balances his two-way workload.
