With the trade deadline less than two weeks away, Josh Downs could be the next Colt on the move under interim general manager Ed Dodds.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs has officially requested a trade ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline, according to ESPN. The move follows recent trades involving guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner under interim general manager Ed Dodds. Downs, who has 26 receptions for 307 yards through seven games, is in the final year of his rookie contract and is identified as a potential target for receiver-needy teams.
Star running back Jonathan Taylor also remains a major potential trade asset, though head coach Shane Steichen denied that Taylor has requested to be dealt. The report suggests contending franchises such as the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos could logically pursue Taylor if Indianapolis opts for a total rebuild. Additionally, veteran defensive tackle Grover Stewart represents another potential candidate to be moved for draft capital before his contract expires at season's end.
