The Kansas City Chiefs announced that running back Kenneth Walker III leads the NFL in rushing yards, yards from scrimmage, broken tackles, and yards after contact heading into Week 3. Walker has totaled 290 rushing yards, 369 yards from scrimmage, and two total touchdowns across his first two games with the 2-0 team.
Kansas City signed Walker to a three-year contract in March following his Super Bowl LX MVP performance with Seattle. Walker's heavy workload of roughly 28 touches per game has supported the offense as quarterback Patrick Mahomes returns from torn knee ligaments suffered last season.
