Kansas City's massive offseason bet is paying off and Brett Veach deserves some credit for it.

KC Kingdom's Parker Buchele argues that the Kansas City Chiefs and general manager Brett Veach deserve credit for trading All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie after second-year cornerback Nohl Williams successfully emerged as an elite starter. Williams has taken on an expanded role across 93 percent of defensive snaps, helping the team secure a 4-0 start to the season.
According to the article, Williams has recorded 15 tackles, four pass deflections, and one sack through four games while maintaining a zero percent completion rate allowed in man coverage per PFF. Buchele views the offseason trade as another successful high-stakes gamble by Kansas City's front office.
