After wide receiver Rashee Rice was officially ruled out for Sunday's game, the Kansas City Chiefs wasted no time in adding depth to their wide receiver room.

The Kansas City Chiefs have elevated wide receivers Justin Watson and Andrew Armstrong from their practice squad ahead of Sunday's divisional game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The roster moves follow injuries to the team's receiving corps, with Rashee Rice officially ruled out and Tyquan Thornton placed on injured reserve due to a dislocated ankle.
Watson previously played three seasons in Kansas City, totaling 64 receptions, 1,064 yards, and seven touchdowns over 50 games. Armstrong, an undrafted rookie out of Arkansas, could make his regular-season NFL debut on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
