The Kansas City Chiefs will be without two starters when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled out wide receiver Rashee Rice and left tackle Josh Simmons for Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Rice is sidelined with a hamstring issue sustained in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders and did not participate in practice during the week. Meanwhile, Simmons remains out with a bulging disc in his back, though he logged limited practice participation for the first time this season.
With Rice and Tyquan Thornton unavailable, Xavier Worthy steps up as the primary wide receiver, while Jalen Royals and Cyrus Allen are expected to see more playing time. Kahlil Benson will continue starting at left tackle. The Chargers enter the game at 0-5 and will also be missing key personnel, including left tackle Joe Alt and safety Derwin James.
