How have the Chiefs and Jets done against each other in their all-time series history? It is more split than most may have anticipated.

The Kansas City Chiefs prepare to host the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium for the 42nd all-time meeting between the franchises. Kansas City currently holds a narrow 21-19-1 lead in the overall series history, which dates back to their original American Football League days as the Dallas Texans and New York Titans.
Under head coach Andy Reid, the Chiefs have captured four of their last five matchups against the Jets. The franchises have also split two historic postseason meetings, highlighted by Kansas City's 13-6 playoff victory over New York in December 1969 that propelled the Chiefs toward their Super Bowl IV championship.
