Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Christian Roland-Wallace was ejected during the fourth quarter of his team's 22-6 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Roland-Wallace was disqualified after throwing a punch at Chargers offensive tackle Alex Harkey's helmet as Harkey tried to stand up after a play. The physical altercation resulted in a 15-yard penalty against the Chiefs.
Broadcast replays showed Harkey pushing Roland-Wallace into linebacker Nick Bolton after the whistle, prompting the retaliatory punch. Roland-Wallace finished the contest with four tackles and could face a fine or suspension. The Chargers failed to capitalize on the penalty and remained winless at 0-6, while Kansas City stayed undefeated at 5-0.
