Sadiq said he was introduced to Kelce while on a predraft visit with the Chiefs before the Jets snagged him 13 picks before Kansas City’s selection.

New York Jets rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq expressed his excitement about facing veteran tight end Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Sadiq, selected 16th overall by the Jets, praised Kelce for setting a high standard and paving the way at the position.
Sadiq recalled briefly meeting Kelce during a predraft visit with the Chiefs prior to being drafted by New York. While noting their physical differences, Sadiq explained that he looks up to Kelce's pass-catching ability as a model for his own development.
