Las Vegas Raiders safety Treydan Stokes will not be fined for his tackle on Tyquan Thornton during the play he got injured.

Las Vegas Raiders safety Treydan Stukes will not face a fine for his tackle on Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyquan Thornton. Despite complaints that Stukes performed a hip-drop tackle, the NFL deemed the tackle legal. The play occurred in the fourth quarter following a 55-yard reception from Patrick Mahomes.
Thornton suffered a dislocated left ankle on the play, which will require surgery. He is expected to miss 12 to 16 weeks, though he could potentially return by the end of the regular season or in the postseason.
