Ashton Jeanty isn’t off to a great start to the season, but based on his comments on Wednesday, he’s ready to take the Jets’ best shot on Sunday.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty called out members of the New York Jets defense ahead of their Week 8 matchup at MetLife Stadium. Speaking after Wednesday's practice, Jeanty stated that there are players on the Jets defense who do not want to tackle, expressing confidence that the Raiders can get their rushing attack back on track.
Warren Mitchell of Raiders Beat noted that the remarks were uncharacteristic for Jeanty, who rarely provides bulletin board material. Mitchell suggests the comments could serve as a motivational spark for Las Vegas's struggling ground game as they prepare to face a Jets team featuring quarterback Geno Smith.
