Dylan Laube is earning Klint Kubiak’s trust, but the Las Vegas Raiders’ struggling run game raises a bigger question: Is it time for the young back to get more opportunities?
Las Vegas Raiders coach Klint Kubiak praised running back Dylan Laube on Monday, describing him as an ascending player and a dependable option in pass protection. Laube scored a 2-yard touchdown during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 45-17 loss against the New England Patriots after entering following a timeout.
With Ashton Jeanty sidelined by an ankle injury, the Raiders have struggled on the ground, averaging just 82 rushing yards per game. Kubiak highlighted Laube's execution in practice and his reliability on special teams and third downs ahead of Sunday's game against Buffalo.
