The Las Vegas Raiders seem to have an elite defense, as they are creating turnovers left and right.

The Las Vegas Raiders defense has generated nine takeaways through the first three weeks of the 2026 NFL season, including five forced fumbles and four interceptions. Led by defensive coordinator Rob Leonard, the unit leads the league in both takeaways and forced fumbles, significantly surpassing the team's early turnover production from recent years.
Justin Churchill highlights that despite having few household names outside of star Maxx Crosby, the defensive unit ranks tied for fourth in sacks and seventh in opponent passer rating. Cornerback Hezekiah Masses has contributed multiple interceptions as the team has capitalized on pressure and fortunate bounces during its strong early-season start.
