The Las Vegas Raiders dropped their fourth consecutive game on Sunday, falling 35-21 at home to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams established a commanding 28-6 halftime lead behind four straight touchdown drives against coordinator Rob Leonard's struggling defense. The loss highlighted severe deficiencies for Las Vegas across multiple phases, leaving first-year head coach Klint Kubiak facing questions regarding the team's quarterback situation, red-zone execution, and rushing attack.
Kubiak addressed whether rookie Fernando Mendoza could replace starting quarterback Kirk Cousins, noting the team must evaluate everything while also addressing other widespread issues. Las Vegas managed just 48 rushing yards and went 1-for-5 in the red zone during the contest. The Rams generated 199 rushing yards, while running back Ashton Jeanty stood out as a bright spot for the Raiders with his eighth career touchdown catch.
