Former NFL defensive lineman Allen Bailey has died at age 37 at his Florida home on Tuesday. His wife found him, and the news was confirmed by his brother. While no official cause of death has been released, he is believed to have died of natural causes. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and the organization released tributes remembering Bailey.
Kansas City drafted Bailey in the third round in 2011 from the University of Miami. Over an eight-season stint with the Chiefs and two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Bailey recorded 248 career tackles and 22 sacks across 133 regular-season NFL games.
