The Chargers are in desperate need of a reboot, but trading away Justin Herbert for three first-round draft picks won't be part of the team's plans.

Despite external speculation and an 0-6 start to the season, the Los Angeles Chargers will not consider trading franchise quarterback Justin Herbert, according to analysis by Sam Farmer. Former NFL executive Joe Banner evaluated the likelihood of a Herbert trade as zero, emphasizing head coach Jim Harbaugh's belief in the quarterback and his long-term value to the franchise.
Herbert has struggled under offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel while playing behind an injured offensive line that includes sidelined tackle Rashawn Slater. He has been sacked 75 times over 22 games dating back to last season, but Harbaugh has reiterated his commitment to both Herbert and McDaniel.
