Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Brenen Thompson and offensive guard Kayode Awosika did not practice on Wednesday following the team's bye week. Awosika continues to nurse a fibula issue that has kept him out for four games, while Thompson remains sidelined due to a hamstring and quad injury. Safety Derwin James also sat out practice after head coach Jim Harbaugh noted he is a candidate for injured reserve due to a hamstring setback.
On a positive note, offensive tackle Joe Alt was completely cleared from Wednesday's injury report after dealing with a neck injury. Receiver Ladd McConkey was a full participant after exiting the previous game with a concussion, while receiver Tre' Harris and cornerback Donte Jackson returned to practice as limited participants.
