The Story in 60 Seconds

ESPN analyst Seth Walder suggested the Los Angeles Chargers trade for Las Vegas Raiders offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson ahead of the trade deadline. Head coach Jim Harbaugh's winless Chargers entered Week 9 at 0-7, largely hindered by offensive line injuries that contributed to quarterback Justin Herbert being sacked 23 times.

Walder argued the Chargers should target Powers-Johnson to reinforce their interior line for the future, noting he remains under contract through 2027. Meanwhile, the Chargers are set to receive an offensive boost as tight end David Njoku returned to practice following a fibula injury.
