The Los Angeles Chargers need to identify their offensive weapons over the remainder of this campaign. Perhaps KeAndre Lambert-Smith has a role to play.

Writer G.C. Bellchamber argues that wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith could carve out an expanded role for the Los Angeles Chargers over the remainder of the 2026 season. After returning from injured reserve, Lambert-Smith recorded five receptions for 32 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6, demonstrating potential as a reliable target across the middle of the field.
Bellchamber notes that the Chargers' passing offense has struggled under head coach Mike McDaniel due to injuries and inconsistent play among the receiving corps. With Tre' Harris managing a hamstring issue and Ladd McConkey facing injury setbacks, Bellchamber contends that Lambert-Smith's versatility in the slot and out wide could provide much-needed support for quarterback Justin Herbert.
