The Los Angeles Rams have signed former Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus. It's the best they could do, but it's not a great feeling for fans.

The Los Angeles Rams have signed 35-year-old kicker Brandon McManus to replace Blake Grupe, who suffered a season-ending injury. McManus won the job over veteran Matt Prater during a Tuesday audition, becoming the Rams' third kicker in three weeks after being released by the Green Bay Packers in May.
Writer John Sbisa argues the signing is a major gamble following McManus's difficult final campaign in Green Bay. While McManus had a strong 2024 season, he struggled heavily in 2025, including missing two field goals and an extra point in a 31-27 Wild Card playoff loss.
