According to a survey reported by Danny Stone, nearly 57% of responding fans place the blame on head coach Sean McVay for the Los Angeles Rams' recurring special teams struggles. The survey indicates that McVay received more criticism than coordinator Bubba Ventrone and kicker Harrison Mevis following recent miscues during a Monday Night Football loss against the Buffalo Bills.
The defeat featured a poor opening kickoff, a missed kick by Mevis, and a blocked kick that sealed the game for Buffalo. Stone notes that overall fan confidence dropped to 33% after the loss, leaving the Rams with a 2-3 record heading into their upcoming matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
