Miami Dolphins rookie wide receiver Caleb Douglas is in serious jeopardy of missing his second consecutive game ahead of Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings. Douglas did not participate in practice on Thursday as he continues to recover from an ankle injury sustained against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, according to David Furones of the Sun Sentinel.
Head coach Jeff Hafley previously described Douglas as day-to-day, but the receiver has yet to practice since the injury. In Douglas's absence during Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs, rookie receiver Chris Bell led the Dolphins with 67 receiving yards on four receptions alongside Malik Washington.
