The Miami Dolphins claimed former Seahawks guard Christian Haynes off waivers, adding offensive line depth as Kadyn Proctor enters concussion protocol.

The Miami Dolphins have claimed offensive guard Christian Haynes off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks. Haynes was released by Seattle to create roster space following their trade for guard Quenton Nelson. To accommodate Haynes on the active roster, the Dolphins are expected to release rookie guard D.J. Campbell, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
A third-round draft selection by Seattle in 2024, Haynes appeared in 24 games across his first two seasons and started five games in 2026 before returning to a reserve role. With Miami left guard Kadyn Proctor currently in concussion protocol, Haynes could quickly be activated for game action.
