The Miami Dolphins announced they have promoted DE Rodney McGraw and signed K Zane Gonzalez to fill his spot on the practice squad. The Dolphins also cut K Riley Patterson, CB Storm Duck and DE Andre Jones Jr.
The Miami Dolphins have executed five roster transactions, promoting defensive end Rodney McGraw from the practice squad to the active roster and signing kicker Zane Gonzalez to the practice squad. In corresponding moves, the team released kicker Riley Patterson and waived cornerback Storm Duck along with defensive end Andre Jones Jr.
Patterson departs after playing in five games for Miami in 2026, where he converted seven of nine field goals and five of six extra points. Gonzalez previously spent time with Miami earlier in 2026, while Duck made two appearances for the team during the 2025 season.
