Adding Jonathan Taylor would be a game changer for the Minnesota Vikings, and it won't come cheap for Nolan Teasley.

The Minnesota Vikings are pursuing Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor ahead of the NFL trade deadline, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The New York Giants are also reportedly in pursuit. The Colts have already rejected an offer featuring a 2027 second-round pick and an additional selection, establishing a high asking price for the star running back.
Writer Tyler Forness argues that Taylor would provide explosive rushing to solve Minnesota's offensive struggles under head coach Kevin O'Connell. Forness predicts an acceptable permanent trade package would require Minnesota to send 2027 second- and third-round picks alongside a 2028 fifth-rounder in exchange for Taylor and a 2027 fourth-round selection.
