Odell Beckham Jr. has been elevated to the Minnesota Vikings active roster for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

The Minnesota Vikings have elevated wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The move comes as starting receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison both carry questionable injury designations into the contest. Along with Beckham, the Vikings elevated wide receiver Jeshaun Jones and activated center Michael Jurgens and tight end Ben Yurosek from injured reserve.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell indicated that Beckham is not guaranteed to suit up, noting that his active status depends on whether Jefferson and Addison are able to play. The writer for The Viking Age argues that Beckham serves primarily as an insurance policy, questioning his reliability at this stage of his career.
