Aaron Jones Sr. carried the Minnesota Vikings backfield for four straight games while Jordan Mason was out. Now we know what he was playing through.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. revealed he has been playing through a sprained left MCL suffered in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears. Despite previously missing multiple weeks for identical injuries during his career, Jones opted to play through the issue with a knee brace.
Jones took on 90% of Minnesota's running back carries from Week 2 through Week 5 while Jordan Mason was sidelined with a thumb injury. Head coach Kevin O'Connell praised Jones' toughness and professionalism as Mason now prepares to return to action.
