The Vikings news never fully stops. Lately, the effort here has been to corral some of what got missed in…

Vikings Territory highlighted three key updates for the Minnesota Vikings ahead of Week 8. Linebacker Blake Cashman was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week following a 12-tackle, two-sack performance in a 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Cashman became the latest Viking to secure a weekly honor in 2026 as Minnesota preserved an undefeated start under defensive coordinator Brian Flores.
On the offensive line, guard Joe Huber missed practice earlier in the week while dealing with a minor ailment, though Minnesota appears to be preparing for him to play Sunday. Meanwhile, defensive tackle Levi Drake Rodriguez and fullback C.J. Ham were highlighted for their off-field community work helping local children celebrate Halloween.
