The shared history of Minnesota Vikings GM Nolan Teasley's and the Indianapolis Colts' new front office leader could end up leading to a trade.

The Viking Age's Brad Berreman argues that the Minnesota Vikings hold a key advantage in potential trade talks with the Indianapolis Colts. Following Indianapolis's dismissal of general manager Chris Ballard, assistant GM Ed Dodds has taken over personnel duties. Berreman points out that Dodds previously worked alongside Vikings executive Nolan Teasley in the Seattle Seahawks front office from 2013 to 2016.
With the 5-0 Vikings positioned as buyers ahead of the November 10 deadline, Colts players such as Jonathan Taylor and DeForest Buckner could draw trade interest. Berreman suggests the shared Seahawks history between Dodds and Teasley could facilitate a potential deal between the two clubs.
