The Minnesota Vikings got better results from Jauan Jennings in a reduced role, suggesting Jordan Addison’s return may have sharpened his usage.

The Viking Age's Allison Koehler argues that the Minnesota Vikings may have discovered the ideal role for Jauan Jennings following their 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Despite playing fewer offensive snaps, Jennings caught two passes on three targets for 34 yards, with both receptions producing first downs.
Koehler notes that the return of Jordan Addison pushed Jennings into a reduced 33-snap workload, which proved far more productive than his 49-snap, zero-catch outing against the New Orleans Saints. The writer contends that Kevin O'Connell's offense benefits from using Jennings in targeted opportunities behind primary targets Justin Jefferson, Addison, and T.J. Hockenson.
