“Why Take On That Stress”: Vikings Legend Sends Clear Message to Brian Flores About Future HC Job Amid 6-0 Start

Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen suggested that defensive coordinator Brian Flores should consider remaining in his current role rather than pursuing another NFL head coaching position. Speaking on the KFAN podcast, Thielen highlighted that Flores enjoys high job security, strong local support, and lower stress in Minnesota while leading a dominant defense during the team's undefeated 6-0 start to the season.

Flores, who previously coached the Miami Dolphins, continues to draw league-wide attention despite past lawsuits and controversies surrounding NFL hiring practices. Minnesota's defense has conceded an NFL-low 74 points through six games, recently setting a 20-year record by blitzing Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones on 85 percent of his dropbacks.
