A blockbuster trade idea would send Jets star Garrett Wilson to the 49ers, potentially removing a major AFC East obstacle from the Patriots' path.

Bleacher Report's Alex Kay proposed a trade idea sending New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson to the San Francisco 49ers for first- and fourth-round draft picks. Musket Fire's Graham Wilker argues that such a trade would provide a major boost to the New England Patriots by removing a key offensive weapon from their AFC East rival.
The 6-1 49ers are managing several receiver injuries, while Aaron Glenn's Jets sit at 2-5 and could focus on their rebuild. Wilson has recorded 37 receptions for 444 yards and three touchdowns this season despite inconsistent quarterback play.
