New England Patriots starting left guard Ben Brown sustained a right knee injury and was quickly ruled out during Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Brown was rolled up on in the fourth quarter following a scramble by quarterback Drake Maye. He required assistance from Mike Vrabel and the medical staff to reach the sideline before heading to the locker room.
Walter Rouse replaced Brown at left guard as the team's final remaining active offensive lineman. New England had already lost Morgan Moses to an ankle injury and Alijah Vera-Tucker to a hamstring issue, with Caleb Lomu and Matt Pryor having entered as earlier replacements.
