New England Patriots starting cornerback Carlton Davis III is set to return to action this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Davis has missed the team's last three games due to a neck injury initially sustained in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. After acknowledging that an earlier attempt to return was rushed, Davis confirmed he is now fully ready to play.
Davis's return marks the first time since Week 1 that the Patriots secondary will be at full strength. Safety Craig Woodson previously missed one game, while fellow cornerback Christian Gonzalez missed two contests and is also feeling better after battling an illness.
