Although the Patriots escaped with a crucial road win against the AFC East rival Bills on Sunday, their receiving corps took another hit when Mack Hollins left with a calf injury.
New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel indicated the team will explore adding a wide receiver following Mack Hollins' calf injury during Sunday's 29-26 win over the Buffalo Bills. While it remains unclear if Hollins will miss time, New England has faced depth issues at the position throughout the early season.
The Patriots have been playing without top receiver A.J. Brown, who was placed on injured reserve after suffering a Week 1 high ankle sprain. Although Brown is eligible to return in Week 6, the team may consider depth acquisitions or explore trade and free-agent options to bolster the unit.
