Hollins was called for taunting when New England was down by 25 points in the fourth quarter.

The NFL fined New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins nearly $35,000 for two penalties committed on a single play during Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The league issued a $22,500 fine for unnecessary roughness and an $11,941 fine for taunting in the fourth quarter of the 28-3 game. Hollins lowered his helmet to hit safety Eric Murray and subsequently celebrated with a "too small" gesture.
The combined infractions pushed New England back to a 4th-and-16 in the red zone instead of a manageable 4th-and-1. Before the penalties, Hollins was quarterback Drake Maye's top receiver, catching six passes for 87 yards.
