“I mean, it’s A.J. Brown."

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye dismissed concerns regarding wide receiver A.J. Brown following a difficult home debut in a 26-19 victory over the New York Jets. Brown caught only three of 10 targets and suffered three critical drops after missing four games due to a high ankle sprain. Maye expressed full confidence in Brown's proven pedigree as the team turns around quickly for a Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears.
Brown confirmed his ankle felt healthy and noted that he has moved on from the dropped passes. With Romeo Doubs placed on injured reserve, the Patriots have only four healthy wideouts on their 53-man roster, increasing the need for Brown to rebound alongside Maye at Soldier Field.
