'We're still defending the Browns'

The New Orleans Saints defense is preparing to face Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome. Sanders is starting in place of Deshaun Watson, who was placed in concussion protocol after suffering a head injury against Pittsburgh. Saints defensive coordinator Brandon Staley noted that despite the quarterback switch, New Orleans expects Cleveland's offensive system to fundamentally remain the same.
Saints defensive edge rushers Carl Granderson and Cam Jordan emphasized playing aggressively after Sanders smiled when asked about facing New Orleans' defense. The Saints enter the contest with a 2-5 record, while Cleveland is 5-3 despite ranking 29th in scoring. In injury news, Saints rookie receiver Jordyn Tyson practiced limited and is listed as questionable to make his NFL debut.
