Alvin Kamara is far from the player he once was, but he has put together a special career for the New Orleans Saints. Soon, he’ll have the chance to join an exclusive list in NFL history. It’s not clear whether…

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara needs just five receiving yards to become the sixth player in NFL history to record at least 5,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards. Kamara currently holds 7,324 rushing yards and 4,995 receiving yards across his 10-year NFL career with the Saints.
His milestone chase may be briefly delayed as Kamara is officially listed as questionable with a back injury ahead of New Orleans hosting the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. If he reaches the mark, Kamara will join Marshall Faulk, Marcus Allen, Tiki Barber, Lenny Moore, and Christian McCaffrey in the exclusive dual-threat group.
