The New Orleans Saints placed running back Travis Etienne Jr. on injured reserve Thursday following a hamstring injury. Etienne aggravated the injury during Sunday's 35-27 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders and will miss at least four games as a result.
Etienne signed a reported four-year, $52 million contract with New Orleans in March after five seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Etienne sidelined, the Saints will rely on veteran running back Alvin Kamara alongside Kendre Miller and rookie CJ Donaldson.
