Jordyn Tyson's much-anticipated NFL debut remains on hold. The New Orleans Saints' top draft pick hasn't taken the field since he injured his hamstring during training camp, but he traveled to Paris, France, for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson continues to progress toward his NFL debut after suffering a hamstring injury during training camp. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis expressed optimism regarding Tyson's recovery, noting the current setback is unrelated to previous issues. Although not practicing this week, the first-round pick traveled with the team to Paris, France, for Sunday's matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Tyson's 21-day practice window has not yet been opened, with New Orleans heading into a bye week following the international trip. Injury analyst Jeff Mueller suggested on social media that Tyson could return between Week 9 and Week 11. Once healthy, the Saints expect Tyson's explosive playmaking ability to provide significant offensive support alongside lead receiver Chris Olave.
