Dominic Zvada missed three kicks in Washington, but the Giants have reasons to trust their rookie while correcting Sunday's mistakes.

Alexander Wilson argues that the New York Giants should remain patient with rookie kicker Dominic Zvada despite a rough outing against Washington. Zvada went 2-for-5 on field goal attempts during a 27-27 tie, including a missed 46-yard kick in overtime, after opening his NFL career with nine consecutive successful field goals.
Wilson notes that four of Zvada's five attempts were from at least 50 yards, including successful kicks from 51 and 56 yards. Head coach John Harbaugh stated his confidence in the kicker remains high, and Wilson believes the Giants should not rush into a kicking competition ahead of their next game against the Saints.
