The NFL has issued a two-game unpaid suspension to line judge Jeff Seeman following an expletive-laden confrontation with Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride. The incident occurred during the Cardinals' 27-24 loss to the New York Giants when McBride protested an uncalled pass interference penalty in the fourth quarter.
Alongside Seeman, referee Adrian Hill received a one-game unpaid suspension for unprofessional conduct toward Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson during a game against the Miami Dolphins. The disciplinary actions follow growing calls from NFLPA Executive Director JC Tretter to hold league officials accountable to the same conduct standards as players.
