The New York Giants won't trade for Saquon Barkley, no matter how badly they need a running back.

Giants coach John Harbaugh recently mentioned Saquon Barkley alongside Derrick Henry when describing his desire for a workhorse running back, sparking speculation about a possible reunion. However, GMEN HQ writer Jason Kandel argues that a trade bringing Barkley back to New York is completely unrealistic despite the Giants' ongoing struggles to establish an effective ground game.
Kandel notes that the Philadelphia Eagles are unlikely to trade Barkley to an NFC East division rival before the November 10 deadline. Furthermore, Kandel points out that the 29-year-old running back has missed games due to a hamstring injury and has struggled with production this season, recording no touchdowns or 100-yard games.
