The Giants held the Titans to 7, then allowed 24, 27 and 34 in the games since. The defense that carried them is cracking before a trip to Houston.

Anthony Rivardo of Empire Sports Media argues that the New York Giants' defense is failing following a 34-27 home loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Giants defense missed 12 tackles, allowed 4.6 yards per carry, and failed to record a single sack during the defeat, dropping the team's record to 3-2-1 on the season.
The writer notes that the defensive unit has sharply regressed since pass rusher Brian Burns suffered a season-ending torn ACL in Week 3. While defensive lineman DJ Reader defended the unit's personnel and slot cornerback Dru Phillips has impressed, Rivardo believes persistent tackling issues and a lackluster pass rush threaten the Giants' season ahead of their matchup against the Houston Texans.
