New York Jets cornerback D'Angelo Ponds needs his playing time to be increased, and it's a wonder why Aaron Glenn has yet to put him on the field more.

Richard Louis argues that New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn should give rookie cornerback D'Angelo Ponds more playing time over Jarvis Brownlee. Despite the Jets suffering a 38-33 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders amid a three-game losing streak, Ponds played only one defensive snap, while Brownlee struggled across 27 snaps in the slot.
Louis points out that Brownlee previously faced a team fine and missed meetings before regaining his starting spot immediately. The writer contends that New York should develop Ponds, their 50th overall draft pick, especially as Brownlee has surrendered 12 receptions across the past three weeks.
