Sooner rather than later, Breece Hall will return to the New York Jets lineup, but Braelon Allen's breakout game should create a realignment of carries.

Stephen Parello of The Jet Press argues that New York Jets running back Braelon Allen has earned a larger role even after starter Breece Hall returns from a right quad injury. Allen capitalized on Hall's absence during a Week 5 victory against the Cleveland Browns, recording 110 rushing yards and a touchdown on 24 carries while forcing eight missed tackles.
Parello believes the Jets should utilize a 60-40 split favoring Hall rather than returning Allen entirely to reserve status. The writer contends that head coach Frank Reich's offense would benefit from pairing Allen's physical, bruising running style with Hall's speed, allowing both players to stay fresh throughout the season.
